What’s going on in the second picture ? The gendarmes are trying to keep the guy with the helmet to fight another guy, who’s himself fencing with another gendarme with what appears to be a radio ? Dafuq ?

There is no a nswer about that on the topic i found the picture on , there also seems to be a guy behind the “radio operator” ( who is most probably a marshall) .
Could be because they tried to get the car back on its feet and it didn’t go as planned .
If it had been a rally, it could have been aga inst his copilot but it’s from a hillclimb.

Looks like a news photographer darted right out in front of the car to take a photograph. Leclerc swerved to avoid him, and now he’s on his roof!
The track officials are helping him out of the car. He looks pretty upset.
Now here’s the same newsman running up to the car, Maybe he’s trying to apologize?
